The supply and demand labour in your country
In
Colombia, the greatest labor supply is for professionals in administrative,
managerial and engineering careers, and in the same areas, labor demand,
however, the area of health in Colombia has a significant demand, but the
health system generates fear in the professionals, for delays in payments and
low salaries.
Construction,
agriculture and labor are having a great demand in our country, but the main
offer for linking to formal jobs requires academic training, for this reason
there is many people dedicated to trade, sales, driving or other vehicles.

In my city
there is a great variety of types of production, however, the greatest strength
is in the mining exploitation, with the extraction of coal, gas, sea salt. Despite
being the most important economic activities of my City, they do not manage to
have a coverage of the whole population, or that represents a form of economic
sustenance of which the city depends exclusively. For this reason, commerce is
the other and perhaps the most important economic activity of the city, which
formally and informally generates most of the income to the inhabitants and the
main form of occupation.
In its
order, it follows with great importance the agricultural production, since, in
the rural zone of the City of Riohacha, there are cultivations of rice, banana,
tomato, cassava; likewise the production of cattle and goats, production of
cheese and milk. However, in a very weak way since it is not a stable
production or that generates many jobs.
Tourism is
an important sector in the city, since it receives many visitors each year, and
it has a hotel chain that generates some jobs, however, it is the commerce and
services offered to tourism that generates income to the inhabitants of
Riohacha.
The main
companies are:
Cerrejón: which, although not located in Riohacha, many of the inhabitants work in this
mine of exploitation of natural resources, and whose main product is coal.
